Models and acts in accordance with REI?s guiding values and mission.<BR><BR><BR>? Analyzes product trends and performance<BR>? Forecasts product demand<BR>? Allocates product to sales channels<BR>? Manages product inventory flow to sales demand and budget<BR>? Negotiates product pricing and logistics with vendors<BR>? Executes and manages purchase orders<BR>? Manages Advanced Store Replenishment (ASR) system<BR>? Manages Forecast Balancing Sheet (FBS)<BR>? Manages De-seasonalized Demand Calculation (DDCalc) process<BR>? Manages inventory analyst portion of seasonal financial reconciliation process<BR>? Maintains effective vendor relationships and communications<BR><BR>Qualifications: ? Minimum 3 years merchandising experience.<BR>? PC proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Explorer.<BR>? Experience with product inventory analysis, acquisition, allocation and management for multiple stores and direct sales.<BR>? Understanding and effective execution of merchandising trend analysis: industry, product, regional, seasonal, fashion, technical.<BR>? Understanding and effective execution of merchandising math principles: initial mark-up, gross margin, markdowns, shrink, damages, inventory turnover, open-to-buy.<BR>? Familiarity and interest in REI products, activities and services.<BR>? Actively participates and collaborates with others on one?s own team and across REI for the achievement of business goals.<BR>?
