The maintenance technician is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing and checking medical equipment for damage upon its return. In addition determine if the equipment is working properly and return to the appropriate manufacturer for repairs if needed. Perform minor repairs on medical equipment. Perform cleaning, sanitizing and check equipment for accuracy. Keep track of and return reusable medical equipment to the manufacturer for repairs and recalibration. Maximizes work efficiency through the use of computers and other technologies.
