               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Manager, Business Systems Analyst<BR>Location: United States-Washington-Seattle-Seattle-ING Seattle (51050)<BR>Job Number:_724435<BR>The Manager -Business Systems Analysts, manages a team of Business Systems Analysts to create documentation used by technical teams to describe project deliverables and act as subject matter experts on applications & processes used throughout the enterprise.<BR><BR>The ideal candidate will successfully organize, oversee, and resource the team for both strategic projects and regular maintenance releases. This individual will work with a variety of departments throughout the organization to represent the Business Systems Analyst team.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR>* Manage a team of full-time and contract Business Systems Analysts<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR>* Provide direction on team responsibilities and deliverables in our project lifecycle<BR>* Work and collaborate with Functional Managers and Project Sponsors to ensure project deliverables are complete and consistent<BR>* Collaborate with Application and Server Architecture on project estimates and issues<BR>* Participate in Strategic Roadmap planning<BR>* Effectively resource strategic and maintenance project efforts<BR>* Handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, while effectively managing priorities and communicating progress<BR>* Effectively represent the department to individuals throughout the company<BR>* Encourage positive communication, set team and individual goals, monitor and maintain good morale<BR>* Create and encourage processes and policies that improve quality, productivity, and predictability.<BR>* Interview and hire staff<BR>* Manage employee complaints and organizational escalations when they occur<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Basic Qualifications:  <BR>* Bachelor''s degree<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR>* At least 3 years? experience working as a Business Systems Analyst or related function<BR>* ?At least 2 years experience managing or leading a team of directs<BR>Preferred Qualifications:<BR>* Knowledge of programming/software fundamentals<BR>* Experience working in an Scrum environment<BR>* Ability to excel in a constantly evolving environment<BR>* Excellent verbal and written communication skills<BR>* Results oriented and proven leadership qualities<BR>* Solid judgment with a demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems<BR>* Demonstrated ability to balance priorities<BR>* Financial / Brokerage Institution experience is a plus<BR>*No agencies please.<BR>*Capital One is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
