We''ve got a crazy amount of ideas and projects. We''re looking for a Marketing Manager to coordinate, and execute the plans with the best metrics in place to gather accurate and thorough analytics, build and present reports outlining the results, and make data-driven decisions helping to guide the evolution and advancement of exactly the right crazy ideas and projects.<BR><BR>The ideal candidate will have a full understanding and deep direct experience in traffic, commerce, and marketing statistics and data. They will have an instinctive understanding of the best, objective way to judge the success of a project, and clearly calculate the costs and benefits of all Woot''s activities and events. The candidate will keep continual watch over Woot''s traffic patterns, dive deep into individual traffic and revenue sources (direct, referral, affiliate, search, etc.), and report on trends and their causes. The Marketing Manager will work with category leads, editorial staff, development teams, finance, advertising, legal, and customer service throughout Woot and Amazon to coordinate execution of marketing programs across email, online activities, social media, and other media. A clear understanding of the key metrics in email and advertising campaigns will be necessary to succeed. The role will require a detail-oriented and organized person, capable of handling multiple projects at once, able to take direction, capable of dealing with ambiguity, and comfortable working with teams, vendors, and management.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR><BR><BR>* Directly coordinate with GMs and team leads to build and document goals and direction to match with events and sales plan.<BR>* Lead a team of site merchandisers, directing their tasks, building and documenting their processes, and developing their skills and abilities around the tools and methods available.<BR>* Design and implement metrics and data-gathering methodologies with development teams, ensuring thorough and consistent collection of all relevant data to guide the business analysis.<BR>* Build and maintain calendar of events and projects, creating project documents with business case, requirements, goals, key metrics, timelines, teams involved, and tactical steps for execution.<BR>* Understand business, marketing, tax and legal constraints and opportunities, and work with stakeholders to build creative solutions allowing for successful implementation of complex projects and initiatives.<BR>* P </font></td>
