These families will need education about American health care, health insurance, pharmacy and formulary operations, and an introduction to prevention practices in the US. They will need to understand the timeline for resettlement and financial support. Some of this outreach work will be conducted from offices at Harborview Medical Center, but much of it will be field based in south King County where refugees are resettling.
