These families will need education about American health care, health insurance, pharmacy and formulary operations, and an introduction to prevention practices in the US. They will need to understand the timeline for resettlement and financial support. Some of this outreach work will be conducted from offices at Harborview Medical Center, but much of it will be field based in south King County where refugees are resettling. For detailed information on Benefits for this positionclick here.<BR>Requirements:<BR>High school graduation or equivalent<BR>AND one year interpretation experience ad one year case work experience in a health or social service setting AND Washington State Department of Social and Health Services certification or qualification<BR><BR>OR<BR><BR>equivalent education/experience.<BR><BR>Additional Departmental Requirements:<BR><BR>1. Oral and written fluency in English and Nepalese<BR>2. Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology.<BR>3. DSHS certification as a medical interpreter.<BR>4. Knowledge of health car </font></td>
