<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Partners with the Medical Director, Medication Safety to develop, implement and evaluate hospital strategic initiatives to continually improve medication safety. Collaborates with Medical Director, Medication Safety to aggregate, trend and analyze medication error data; identify and facilitate medication safety improvement efforts; track and implement initiatives to improve key medication safety metrics. Works closely with organizational leadership to consult, recommend and facilitate implementation of medication safety improvement methodologies; to cultivate an organization-wide culture of safety; to advance Children’s profile and reputation in the area of medication safety; and to contribute to the medication safety knowledge base. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements related to medication safety. Commits to and utilizes Continuous Performance Improvement (CPI) as the philosophy and improvement methodology. Maintains skills and competence in the area of patient safety.<BR>Requirements: <BR>Required Education/Experience:<BR>- Bachelors in Pharmacy or Master's Degree in Nursing. <BR>- Minimum five (5) years of experience in clinical practice.<BR>- Minimum three (3) years of experience in process improvement methodologies. <BR>- Demonstrated experience in the area of medication safety. <BR>- Experience leading multi-disciplinary committees and working collaboratively across disciplines in a complex hospital setting.<BR>- Experience with medication-related device software (e.g. infusion pumps, automated dispensing cabinets, bar coding...For more information please see URL</font></td>
