<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Northwest Center, an established non-profit dedicated to serving children and adults with disabilities, is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Network and Desktop Support Technician for our main office headquarted in the South Park neighborhood of Seattle.<BR><BR>The candidate chosen for this role will provide Helpdesk support to end users at Northwest Center. This position will focus on troubleshooting and maintaining all Microsoft operating systems from DOS thru Windows 7 and Windows Server products. This position will also assist in maintaining the general network and all associated services, as well as support and update all company applications. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service and documentation skills who has the ability to work unsupervised performing moderately difficult work.<BR><BR>Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:<BR>• Day to day active directory listing (user account management, networked printer, shares, etc.)<BR>• Daily management of the network back up and restore tasks<BR>• Maintain the company workstations by configuring hardware components (motherboards, hard drives, CD-ROM s, network interface cards, modems, SCSI adapters, video cards, network cabling, and peripherals)<BR>• Assist in maintaining the Company infrastructure<BR>• Install and configure software such as Windows operating systems, MS Office Suite, network protocols, backup software, browsers, and e-mail clients (Outlook, Outlook Express) and third party applications<BR>• Utilize the internet to research technical information regarding drivers, tech support and product updates<BR>• Maintenance of cell phone plans and hardware<BR>• Typing speed of 35-40 WPM<BR><BR>Requirements:<BR>• Regular and reliable attendance is required with on-call availability during off hours<BR>• Own reliable transportation for travel to other NWC locations as needed<BR>• Must have at least 2 years experience in networking (WAN) environments<BR>• Must have at least 2 years of hardware/software experience, with at least one year in a desktop support environment<BR>• N+/A+/S+ preferred; MCSE desired<BR>• Documented knowledge of PC s, MS-DOS, Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Servers; LAN/WAN support<BR>• Able to troubleshoot all Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Server Products<BR>• Explicit knowledge of PC/Server hardware configurations, motherboards and all peripherals<BR>• Excellent problem-solving skills<BR>• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; flexibility to work with and train people with varying degrees of technical knowledge<BR>• Office Power User<BR><BR>Schedule:<BR>Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, will work after hours as necessary<BR><BR>Please apply online at http://www.nwcenter.org/Taleo/jobs.htm<BR><BR>If you are a qualified individual with a disability or a disabled veteran, you may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access Northwest Center's Job Openings page as a result of your disability.
