Our hospitals<BR>offer challenges you can?t fi nd anywhere else in the region, including this opportunity for<BR>Cardiothoracic OR nurses to join our cardiothoracic surgery team, in the primary Regional Heart<BR>Center location at UW Medical Center.<BR><BR>As a member of this team, you will have the privilege of being involved in cutting-edge<BR>surgeries including LVAD, heart and lung transplants, valve procedures of all types - including<BR>hybrid TAVI procedures (percutaneous aortic valve) in a cardiac surgery-cardiology multidisciplinary<BR>setting, complex open heart cases, surgery to correct adult congenital heart disease,<BR>as well as thoracic cases, including lobectomy, endartectomy, and many others.<BR><BR>The cardiac team is a dedicated group involved in dynamic procedures and exciting research<BR>studies such as the PARTNER trial, the Melody pulmonary valve trial, and clinical trials for the<BR>latest cardiac mechanical assist devices.
