Solicits customer orders, advises customers of upcoming promotions, processes orders, prompts new and addon sales, resolves customer service problems, and maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers. <BR><BR>Summary of Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Participates in departmental and sales conferences and company trade shows. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned. Provides feedback to team members, management and other business unit representatives regarding customer needs, product usage, service and training needs, and general operational issues and problems. Assists operations management in streamlining and solving issues that impact customer service and profit margin. Solicits new and addon sales via outbound sales calls to meet field sales goals and increase business unit profitability. Enters orders, identifies backorder issues, provides alternative product, and consults with customers and field partners to ensure satisfactory resolution. Maintains customer master files to ensure accurate pricing on promotions, account information, shopping lists, and shipping information. Works with distribution analyst teams to assure fulfillment and delivery according to customer expectations. Monitors inventory shipments between production and distribution centers. Processes new account forms, credits, returns and call tags. Monitors customer account for activity and profitability, and reports trends and issues to appropriate sales partner. Responds to transferred customer calls.
