Our multidisciplinary approach known as Team Medicine" gives every individual the chance to contribute to the well-being of our patients and the continuing success of our medical center.<BR><BR>This position provides direct patient care under the supervision of the RN.<BR><BR>1. Activities of Daily Living (bathing, grooming, feeding, basic hygiene)<BR><BR>2. Basic nursing care activities (vital signs, observation and reporting of signs and symptoms of disease state, posturals, simple dressing changes)<BR><BR>3. Assist in patient mobility (ambulate, turn, position, range of motion)<BR><BR>4. Perform EKGs<BR><BR>5. Bedside testing (blood glucose, colon screening, dextrose secretions, specific gravity)<BR><BR>Required Qualifications:WA State certification as a Nursing Assistant (NA-C) or an LPN. One year recent acute care (hospital) experience as a nursing assistant. Good oral and written communication skills. Basic skills using a PC. Able to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics. Able to occasionally lift or push up to 50 lbs. and pull up to 100 lbs..<BR><BR>Preferred Qualifications:EKG Tech skills.<BR><BR>Come join the quality health care leader in Seattle.
