We are building our team to ensure that our quality of care is rated at the highest levels. Reporting to the Patient Safety Officer you will be responsible for:<BR><BR>* Coordinating the assessment, evaluation, management and follow up of unusual occurrences in collaboration with medical staff and delivery system managers.<BR>* Acting as a coach and expert consultant to teams with a significant amount of unusual occurrences to assist them in determining root cause.<BR>* Facilitating the problem solving of the root cause issues with the affected teams to identify problems and gaps, and facilitate system improvement processes to reduce opportunities for error.<BR>* Managing the web-based reporting system and develops and maintains training programs for delivery system users regarding use of the web-based reporting system.<BR>* Working collaboratively with Patient Safety Analyst and Patient Safety Officer to identify and prioritize opportunities for broad system improvement.<BR>* Must be comfortable leading teams and facilitating meetings<BR>Education<BR>MinimumBachelors Degree Communications, Computer Science or Health related field.<BR>PreferredMasters Degree Computer Science and/or Health related field.<BR><BR>Knowledge/Skills<BR>Minimum<BR><BR>* Intermediate working knowledge of software applications, editing, organizing information.<BR>* Ability to work on cross-functional teams.<BR>* Excellent technical skills to manage web based reporting system. <BR>* Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology and processes.<BR>Preferred<BR>* Intermediate proven ability to facilitate and lead groups.<BR>* Ability to interpret data and translate into actionable information.<BR>* Knowledge of Lean principles and their application to problem solving and continuous improvement processes.<BR><BR>Experience<BR>Minimum<BR>3 years Experience in the medical field with ability to manage complex processes.<BR><BR>Preferred<BR>5 years Experience in medical field with leadership/management experience.<BR><BR><BR>Group Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce. </font></td>
