As a pharmacy technician in this position, you will be interacting with patients and healthcare providers to facilitate the admission and discharge process for patients. This exciting new role requires excellent communication skills and offers an opportunity for technicians to interact with patients in the hospital setting. The technician also is responsible for data entry of the medication list into the electronic medical record. Additionally, the technician may perform a variety of technical pharmaceutical tasks in the inpatient or satellite pharmacies. Experience in a retail pharmacy setting with medication order entry preferred.
