The PSSM publishes written physical security design standards, drafts Scope of Work, manages the installations of security systems, serves as a Physical Security Project Manager, creates budgets and timelines, serves on cross functional teams and is considered one of the Subject Matter Experts in all facets of Physical Security. This position is an essential part of Amazon?s Corporate Security Services team that supports our facilities across the globe. This position is based in Seattle, WA and reports to the Sr. Manager, Corporate Security Services.<BR><BR>The PSPM is responsible for creating Physical Security Programs and Standards that support the goals of the Corporate Security Services team while enabling the local site managers to draw related services from the team, in a self-service manner. This includes:<BR><BR>? Writing detailed Physical Security design specifications and standards.<BR>? Interpreting Blue Prints for the purpose of applying company design standards.<BR>? Drafting Scopes of Work, Project Bidding Packages and Project Budgets.<BR>? Completing the final Test and Acceptance of security systems.<BR>? Prequalify Security Integrators.<BR>? Establish and implement effective, predictable and measurable procedures/processes.<BR>? Work with supervisors and internal customers to establish, provide and agree on, clear goals, objectives, and performance delivery outcomes and timelines.<BR>? Designs, develops, and implements solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs and change outs.<BR>? Builds and deploys training programs for all users of the physical security systems.<BR>? Coordinates and ensure timely delivery of daily system support requirements with various support teams such as IT Security, Network Engineering and Corporate Systems.<BR>? Researches, develops, designs and tests a variety of equipment, components, products and systems with the goal of fully optimizing and leverage our investments.<BR>Basic Qualifications<BR><BR>* BS degree (or higher) in Electronic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent level of experience.<BR>* 5-7 years of experience in managing the operation and installation of global physical security systems.<BR>* Must be able to demonstrate the ability to write design specifications and standards at an Expert? level.<BR>* Strong skills and experience in writing technical manuals and procedures.<BR>* Ability to develop and delivery training programs.<BR>* Advanced knowledge and experience with the Security Integrator Industry.<BR>* Skilled in AutoCAD.<BR>* Advan </font></td>
