This position is responsible for conducting all types of sleep studies including overnight polysomnography (multiple montages), MSLT, MWT, supplemental, O2 titration, esopheal (PES) monitoring, portable sleep studies and other various technical duties required for sleep studies. <BR><BR>Other Duties May Include :<BR><BR><BR>* Selecting and implementing appropriate configuration/procedures/sensors/equipment for the needs of the test.<BR><BR>* monitoring following standard protocols.<BR><BR>* Utilizing appropriate electrode application for designated test.<BR><BR>* Responding immediately and appropriately to cardiovascular distress, seizures, and psychological distress.<BR><BR>* Providing basic patient education for PAP therapy.<BR><BR>* Completing post-study procedure paperwork and billing.<BR><BR>* Reviews all completed studies with PSGT operations manager or designee.<BR><BR>* Completes assignments involving reading technical materials, mock tests etc.<BR><BR>* Listens to, documents and appropriately triages patient needs.<BR><BR>* Acts as patient advocate throughout entire sleep testing procedure.<BR><BR>* Demonstrates an atmosphere/attitude of respect for human dignity and the uniqueness of patients, families and staff.<BR><BR>Competitive candidates will:<BR><BR>* Have a medical or science background.<BR><BR>* Commun </font></td>
