Demonstrates sales effectiveness by securing deposits on bookings made. <BR>• Consistently meets established call center guidelines. <BR>• Communicates effectively with coworkers and management to ensure customer follow up. <BR>• Manages a voice mail box and processes customer voice mails.<BR>• Manages Lotus Notes correspondence and maintains a customer contact database.<BR>• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness (through our Quality Assurance Program), meets productivity requirements, reviews own work to ensure quality and utilizes feedback to improve performance.<BR>• Service overflow calls from general reservations.<BR><BR><b>Requirements</b><BR>• High school or equivalent certification.  <BR>• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with customers, employees, and management. <BR>• Proficiency in the use of computer business applications with working knowledge of computerized reservations systems.<BR>• Organizational skills and the ability to handle multi-tasking and work under pressure to meet deadlines are important.<BR>• One year experience in the area of customer service or sales.<BR><BR><b>Wages and Benefits</b><BR>This position's rate of pay is $10.00 per hour, which includes paid training. Position is eligible for additional compensation with the Star Bonus Program.  Performance based pay increases take place on a regular basis.  We have a great benefits package with options for medical, dental, vision, 401K, tuition reimbursement, free ORCA pass, and cruise travel privileges.  Position is eligible for full-time telecommuting after six months of employment.    <BR><BR><b>Training and Shifts</b><BR>Paid training will be full-time, 40 hours per week, beginning on November 19th and will last four consecutive weeks.  Hours for training are Monday- Friday, 8:00am to 4:45pm.  Post training work schedules will be 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, Thursday- Monday.
