This will be a full-time, nine-month professional staff project appointment. The Program Operations Analyst will create and implement improvement initiatives in the clinics and other outpatient departments. Responsibilities include: PI Initiatives, LEAN projects, patient and family centered care initiatives, and collaborative initiatives with UW Medicine partners to achieve strategic goals. The work will include managing multiple projects, facilitating multidisciplinary groups, and implementing improvement strategies and tools. This position will lead programs focused on standardizing best practices, improving workflow efficiency, optimizing use of resources, increasing patient satisfaction, and will work independently and partner with physicians and administration to identify and facilitate improvement efforts.<BR><BR>Acts as a resource for clinic management to make improvements in efficiency and quality: Serves as a technical expert regarding specific quality improvement and process improvement approaches to improve quality of patient care services in a cost-effective manner. Plans and implements new or expanded programs and projects that focus on enhancing operational efficiency, clinical and service quality.<BR><BR>Position is integral to the successful implementation of Patients Are First Initiative elements in AACS and partner departments at Harborview Medical Center.
