UWAC is part of the Center on Human Development and Disability at the University of Washington and incorporates faculty and staff from the UW School of Medicine, College of Arts & Sciences, and College of Education.<BR><BR><BR>The Autism Center currently has an outstanding opportunity for aPsychologist. This individual will, under general supervision, work among a team of professionals, including licensed psychologists, speech-language pathologists, early intervention providers, medical professionals, faculty, graduate students, and pre- and post-doctoral fellows.<BR><BR>The main function of this position will be to provide clinical services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders, through diagnostic assessments, individual therapy, family and school consultations, and training workshops in the community. The position will adhere to UW Autism Center-wide policies and procedures and workload standards. The position requires specialized training and expertise related to autism and the ability to handle complex and sensitive situations regarding clinic patients.
