Manages overall conduct of projects, directs project resources through definition, planning, implementation and transition of initiatives. Specific emphasis focus for this position will be evaluating external Quality & Safety initiatives and guiding and implementing alignment of internal strategic initiatives and measurement systems for Virginia Mason Medical Center (VMMC).<BR><BR>Leads or carries out development of project agreements and plans, including objectives, deliverables, key tasks, timelines, milestones, stakeholder and team member identification, risks, decision-making processes and resource requirements.<BR><BR>Leads the implementation of process/program improvement projects as per established statement of work and work plan, including facilitating meetings, building and maintaining effective team relationships, monitoring progress, resolving barriers or problems; measures margin improvement after implementation of improvement ideas.<BR><BR>Collects and analyzes data to support projects being considered or underway. Data gathered may include work methods and procedures, staffing utilization, productivity, organizational structure, distribution of assignments and information management.<BR><BR>Presents project progress and findings to multiple audiences, including managers, physicians and organizational leadership.<BR><BR>Collaborates with other Virginia Mason project management personnel to improve on planning and implementation practices, tools and supportive strategies, e.g. training programs, to support the organization''s development of its performance improvement capabilities.<BR><BR>This position requires a Bachelor''s degree in business, health care administration, finance or equivalent; seven years'' progressively more resp </font></td>
