With a large network of locations in 34 states and the District of Columbia, we deliver the equipment you need and provide a superior level of customer service.<BR><BR>At Sunbelt Rentals we aspire to be the best player in the industry, not the biggest.<BR>Position Objective:<BR>Responsible for overseeing all aspects of occupational safety management at assigned profit centers, implementation and adherence of safety policies and programs, and communicating safety issues to the National Safety Director and/or VP of Safety and Risk Management.<BR><BR><BR>Position Responsibilities:<BR>This position is responsible for preparing reports and recommending procedures to improve organizational performance. Ultimately, the employee holding this position is responsible for overseeing the overall integrity and quality of all Sunbelt Rentals safety protocols at individual profit centers within their assigned area. Specifically:<BR>* Conducts PC safety compliance inspections and audits in accordance with scheduled program utilizing dedicated audit criteria including employee training, facility regulatory compliance, vehicle fleet / DOT compliance, shop and equipment rental fleet compliance.<BR>* Identifies deficiencies found during inspections; provides written evaluation of inspection with corrective action requirements; assists Profit Center Manager & Service Manager in mandating time period for completion of corrective actions.<BR>* Responsible for delivering safety training modules to employees on an ongoing basis.<BR>* Assists PC Safety Coordinator as necessary with completion of required training, safety meeting coordination and completion, and maintenance of Safety Training & Documentation Manual.<BR>* Supports PCM and Safety Coordinator in the investigation of all incidents and appropriate near-misses while assisting the PCM in completion of reporting requirements and follows up as necessary to support the claims managers.<BR>* Active participation in PC monthly safety meetings, as well as providing assistance to PCM/Service Manager in conducting Safety Stand Down meetings.<BR>* Responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities as outlined or identified as "Key Objectives" or "Safety Program Priorities" on a fiscal year basis (note - priorities are adjusted year by y </font></td>
