Our multidisciplinary approach known as Team Medicine" gives every individual the chance to contribute to the well-being of our patients and the continuing success of our medical center.<BR><BR>The Retail Food Svcs Asst is responsible for service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving. Provides excellent service to all customers. Cleans and stocks work area. Performs related duties as required.<BR><BR>1. CASHIER: Cashiers according to established procedures, maintaining cash accuracy within three percent of receipts as outlined in the department''s "Cashier Performance Expectations." Makes deposits at the end of the shift by following correct procedures.<BR><BR>2. CASHIER: On a daily basis, completes deposit forms for accounting.<BR><BR>3. CASHIER: Completes assigned stocking and cleaning responsibility throughout the shift. On an on-going basis, inventories and re-stocks supplies and food products in work area; forwards orders for products to the Food Svcs Storekeeper.<BR><BR>4. SERVER: Maintains cleanliness of the work areas, making sure areas are not cluttered with product and soiled pans. Sets up serving line 15 minutes prior to opening, making sure temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges; and that correct utensils are used. Notifies the Cooks if food temperatures are not within acceptable limits. Serves hot and cold items from the caf? serving line to customers.<BR><BR>5. SERVER: Sets up items for purchase and consumption on a daily basis.<BR><BR>6. SERVER: Performs cashier duties when necessary.<BR><BR>7. BUSSER/DOCTOR''S DINING ROOM: Maintains cleanliness of the setting area by making sure tables are wiped down, garbage is off the floor and food items are stocked throughout the servery.<BR><BR>8. BUSSER/DOCTOR''S DINING ROOM: Sets up Doctor''s Dining Room for lunch service. Keeps refrigerator stocked and product rotated by using the First -in/First out (FIFO) rule.<BR><BR>9. FLOORSTOCK/STOCKER: Stocks all Nursing pantries with correct par levels of food items on a daily basis. Records replenished amounts on floor stock form for each unit. Records refrigerator temperatures on floor stock form on a daily basis. Follows the First in/First out (FIFO) procedure when stocking Nursing pantries and Room Service refrigerators.<BR><BR>High school diploma or equivalent required. Current State of Washington Food Handlers Permit required. One year cashiering experience in a direct customer service environment required. One year food service experience preferred. Ability to manage several tasks and set priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language at </font></td>
