This position reports to the Operating Unit President, is responsible for managing, directing and driving local efforts to optimize negotiated sales strategies, sales person performance and drive growth into new markets. This will be accomplished by professionally managing an existing sales force, recruiting and developing new members to the team in a strategic fashion, and personally developing new business. Additionally, this position has responsibility for accurately estimating jobs and enhancing resources to close profitable sales. Key activities include mentoring the team to generate qualified leads, develop a deep understanding of customer needs and how to best address them, along with creating lasting relationships with prospective clients. This role also requires accurate bid proposal preparations, managing permit process, interpreting contractual agreements and verifying satisfactory job completion.<BR>Additional responsibility includes outbound cold calling, identifying and qualifying opportunities, actively networking, and referral research. <BR>The Manager of Sales and Estimating will be focused on mentoring and developing measurable accountability standards to build a high performance sales team. The candidate should be well versed in sales process and sales strategy and must possess the ability to adapt to multiple personalities and market segments.<BR><BR>* <BR>Responsible for direct sales efforts in identifying, proposing and closing on opportunities while working with the President to lead the sales team.<BR> </font></td>
