<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>Longview’s Seattle container plant</b> is located near the I-5 corridor in the industrial heart of Seattle. The plant operates from a 130,000 sq. ft. facility, and has 70-million square feet of monthly production capacity. Originally built in 1954, the Seattle plant has serviced an ever-expanding market in western Washington, British Columbia, Alaska and Hawaii. The markets for our boxes include wine and beverage, fish, meat and poultry, food processors, and fresh produce. High-end graphics and point-of-purchase requirements are a large part of our business mix. Longview’s Seattle plant is one of seven container plants that make up Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging’s corrugated division. In total, Longview is the largest pulp and paper manufacturer in western North America. We have a strong focus on continuous improvement, and we invite those with high standards for quality and customer service to apply.<BR><BR><b><u>Summary:</b></u><BR>We are looking for a seasoned corrugated sales representative who is self-motivated, with a book of business who wants to take their business to the next level. A team oriented professional who enjoys the challenges of outside sales, who can succeed in a fast paced environment, and who is adept at developing new business and relationships in the corrugated packaging and solid fiber sales industry is a must. <BR><BR><b><u>Responsibilities: </b></u><BR><li>Focuses on large and/or complex customers within a designated geographic area. Involves a high level of client relationship skills to maintain competitive positioning. <BR><li>Coordinates use of other company resources to provide value added customer-packaging services to accounts. <BR><li>Develops strong client relationships over time that provides significant input to planning company product, price, and service strategies.<BR><li>Supports Sales Manager and other team members in developing new market opportunities within the designated areas. <BR><li>Provides analysis and information on sales forecast and budget preparation.<BR><li>Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. <BR><li>Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned. <BR><li>Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and provide customers with quotations. <BR><li>Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on future buying trends. <BR><li>Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations. <BR><li>Negotiate variations in price, delivery and specifications in partnership with your mentor/manager. <BR><li>Recording sales and order information in JDEdwards while communicating with customer service. <BR><li>Reviewing your own sales performance, against targets as you gain experience. <BR><li>Work in partnership other team members, such as engineering, marketing and packaging experts. <BR><BR><b><u>Qualifications: </b></u><BR><li>At least 3 years of sales experience in the corrugated industry is required!<BR><li>Proven volume required of at least 20 million feet of sales over the last 2 years.<BR><li>Experience and / or exposure to inventory management. <BR><li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal, writing and organizational skills are a MUST!<BR><li>A team oriented person who is adept at developing new business and relationships. <BR><li>An imaginative and creative background with a technical aptitude for combining customer-packaging requirements with our technological capabilities.<BR><li>Proven success as measured by new business growth<BR><li>A high degree of self-motivation and drive. <BR><li>The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. <BR><li>Ability to persuade and influence others.
