In the U.S. and Canada, Saint-Gobain employs over 24,000 people, and has approximately 200 manufacturing locations. Its total U.S. and Canada sales is $8.4 billion. Saint-Gobain Abrasives is the world?s leading manufacturer and distributor of abrasives products and systems.<BR>Job Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the full range of account and distribution activities in the assigned geographic area. The candidate would work closely with traditional industrial and national distribution to further develop a strong distribution network to grow abrasives sales and share. Sales responsibility is $1.9M+ with good growth opportunities. Key measures of performance are sales vs. set targets, relationship building, and prospecting. The territory covers the 18 western counties of Washington from the Canada border to Vancouver, WA and is greater Seattle area based. Overnight travel required and is approximately 3-4 nights per month.<BR><BR>COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:<BR>Interested candidates should have a proven sales record managing geographical industrial accounts and distribution. Bachelor?s degree or equivalent with 2-4 years experience in the Industrial Abrasives sales channel. Incumbent should possess strong technical aptitude in Bonded, Coated, Superabrasives and Thin Wheels and have excellent training skills for industrial distributor personnel. The ability to develop, maintain and grow key accounts, along with the ability to work in a team atmosphere is a key performance criteria. The position requires an individual who is self motivated with a high energy level. Excellence in Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Word is a must.
