Additional information can be found at http://www.avanade.com/.<BR><BR>SUMMARY:<BR><BR>The IS Lead is accountable to the ISMS manager for establishing, operating, monitoring and improving the Information Security Management System[1] (ISMS) in accordance with the established security program and timelines. The goal is to manage information security risk faced by the information systems and assets within the assigned entity. The IS Lead accomplishes this goal by working with the local management to identify local control owners and their champions, by supporting the implementation of all applicable information security controls within the entity and validating that identified information security risks are mitigated.<BR><BR>The role will report to the ISMS manager but will also maintain close linkage with the control owners and their champions. Work may be performed remotely depending on the geographic locations assigned.<BR><BR>It is expected that the IS lead will identify and local champions who will perform the majority of local information security control implementation and administrative activities. The use of local resources (as opposed to centralised resources) is important due to the physical nature of a number of the controls and to ensure that accountability for the ongoing maintenance of those controls remains with the entities.<BR><BR>SpecificResponsibilities:<BR><BR>- Review and refresh the entity''s information asset register on a periodic basis.<BR>- Conduct information security risk assessments to ensure that risks are identified, recorded and managed through the implementation of risk mitigation strategies per the ISMS (where appropriate).<BR>- Ensure that all applicable information security controls have been implemented or addressed and that appropriate checks are conducted and recorded to provide evidence that controls are effective or in remediation.<BR>- Provide updates to the ISMS manager on current risk status and seek consensus with local management on the risk mitigation actions and plan to manage the information security risk to an agreed and acceptable level.<BR>- Pear review the work of other leads and IS seniors for completeness and adherence to the progr                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  </font></td>
