               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">We are currently seeking a Statistician who will conduct statistical analyses and data interpretation in a variety of pre-clinical and post-clinical genetic and genomic experiments.The ideal candidate should be comfortable working closely with external customers to design and analyze both preclinical experiments and post-hoc analyses of clinical data. Candidate should possess strong knowledge of statistics and demonstrated capabilities in the development and application of statistical models to a variety of experimental designs including mixed models with repeated measures, crossover, Latin Square etc. Previous experience with genomics data (e.g. expression microarray, genotyping, and NextGen Sequencing) analysis is a plus. Candidate should be capable to clearly articulate the results of statistical analyses to external teams of biologists and (bio)statisticians.Desired skills include:?Design and analysis of experiments.?Post-hoc analyses of clinical trial data from a genomic perspective.?Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics.?2 to 5 years experience with statistical modeling or data mining algorithms.?Experience in establishing computational pipelines.?Proficiency in R, SAS, Matlab, C/C++/C#, or other data analysis tools.?Familiarity with SQL, Python, and Unix.?Experience in handling large data sets.?Experience at Biotech / Pharmaceutical / Drug DiscoveryCovance Genomics Laboratory - Seattle, WA leads in the agile application and integration of genomics technology solution to deliver quality data that enables the translation of targets and biomarkers into clinical impact to enhance our client''s ability to deliver new medicines that improve patient quality of life.At Covance, we help make the miracles of medicine a reality.
