When you join Nordstrom, you are welcomed into a family dedicated to creating memorable and rewarding shopping experiences for our customers.<BR><BR>This individual will assist in all areas of Corporate FP&A, support company and board level reporting during month end and quarter end and understand the key drivers of business performance.<BR><BR>Responsibilities <BR><BR>* Provide support to the annual planning and forecast processes<BR>* Provide support to the capital and long-term planning processes<BR>* Develop financial models and other analytical tools to help address business needs<BR>* Gain detailed understanding of operating performance of each major area of the company<BR>* Provide analysis to support Senior Management and Board of Directors presentations<BR>* Support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of our financial models and reporting systems<BR>* Support the transition and maintenance of new planning / reporting tools<BR>* Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as assigned<BR>Qualifications<BR>* 5-7 years of related experience, retail preferred<BR>* BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA or comparable experience preferred<BR>* Proven experience in using skills for analyzing, modeling and reporting financial performance<BR>* Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and timelines<BR>* Excellent computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint and database systems, experience with Hyperion-Essbase and Cognos a plus<BR>* Ability to independently develop processes and deliverables from general direction<BR>* Excellent oral and written communication skills<BR>* Attention to detail, data integrity and accuracy<BR>* Ability to work effectively under pressure<BR><BR>Since 1901, Nordstrom has offered a wide variety of quality apparel, shoes and accessories for men, women and children at our stores across the country.
