The individual will also be charged with partnering with Global Payroll operations team to identify areas of controllership risk, compliance risk, and related financial accounting impact.<BR><BR>This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for process improvement, who can assist in the structuring a standardized process across the globe. This person will also be expected to take ownership and drive positive change including evaluating and streamlining existing operational processes, controls and metrics.<BR>Responsibilities include:<BR><BR>* Working closely with the accounting and finance teams to evaluate monthly results<BR>* Facilitate financial review meetings with Global Finance Operations Directors, including design and review of internal financial reports.<BR>* Highlighting accounting improvement opportunities on specific processes and accounts and partnering with operations teams to implement.<BR>* Developing, modifying and maintaining the operational and design effectiveness of internal controls<BR>* Coordinating with the Payroll teams in Europe, Japan, China, India and other locations to ensure strong communication, reporting, and best practices are identified, implemented and followed<BR>Up to 20% travel may be required, including international travel.<BR>Basic Qualifications<BR><BR>* Bachelor''s degree in finance, accounting, or other related field<BR>* 7+ years of experience in business, accounting, logistics, consulting or similar field<BR>* Experience with 3rd party payroll processing and related accounting structure<BR>Preferred Qualifications<BR><BR>* CPA (active license not required)<BR>* Private/Public Accounting mix with direct experience in a large organization<BR>* Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and integration with 3rd partapplications such as ADP; Pay Force; and/or Global View<BR>* International experience with multiple 3rd party payroll solution providers<BR>* Deep knowledge of Access<BR>* Proven project management ability that shows how to organize, find solutions, and follow through to a successful conclusion<BR>* Independent and entrepreneurial showing the ability to work with minimal direction<BR>* Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities<BR>* Track record of dealing with ambiguity<BR>* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage escalations of complex problems<BR>* A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations<BR>* The ideal candidate will be comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting their findings to senior managementAmazon is </font></td>
