The role includes, but is not limited to, global inventory valuation, inventory reserve and lower of cost or market analysis, inventory write-off tracking and reporting, and freight analysis. Provides support and leadership to accounting groups and functions outside of the immediate team and leads cross-functional projects to improve processes and the comprehension of accounting data. <BR>Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.<BR><BR><BR>Summary of Key Responsibilities<BR>Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:<BR><BR>Leadership -Setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability and modeling how we work together:<BR><BR>* Acts as a leader among peers, incorporating key priorities for both accounting operations and the total Company.<BR>* <BR>Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team of direct reports promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.<BR>* <BR>May manage a large team, and other managers.<BR>* <BR>Supports the implementation of company programs to ensure the success of the Company.<BR>* <BR>Supports the implementation of company programs to ensure the success of the Company.<BR>* <BR>Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to coordinate and provide guidance on implementation of<BR>* <BR>complex accounting issues.
