<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">SERVER & STORAGE ANALYST - Job #S20120909 - Seattle, WA<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>This position will serve as a key member of the Systems Operations Team which administers, maintains and supports all server, storage and backup infrastructure technologies. Scope of responsibility includes technical knowledge, project management, planning, design, configuration, deployment, documentation, administration, maintenance, and support of assigned systems as outlined below.<BR><BR>The Analyst is expected to effectively administer the Perkins Coie computing environment by such activities as user account management, file/directory permissions, scheduled job management, and system backup/restore administration. This also includes being responsible for a rotating week of "on call" support responsibility occurring no more than once every twelve weeks. This position also creates, maintains and follows documented procedures to complete application or system level changes. <BR><BR>This position requires an understanding of Virtualized servers and storage array environment, with expertise (and certifications) with Windows Server 2008, VMWare, NetApp, EMC, Commvault, Data Domain, etc. systems primarily within data centers and local offices. In other words, knowledge of server and storage technologies is necessary for this position. Systems Management tools education and experience for Dell servers is desired, such as Solarwinds and SCOM. Further, systems monitoring, incident and problem management skills are desired to achieve server/storage availability and provide prompt resolution of any related issues. Must have time management skills; effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information to non-systems personnel.
