Service Technicians make up over 75% of our staff, and with a fleet of over 800 service vehicles, we can meet our customers' needs anytime and anywhere. SLS technicians make an average of 30,000 customer stops per month to perform lighting retrofits, group relamps, service calls, and inspections. Even with all the calls they make, SLS Service Technicians achieve 97% on-time attainment for all scheduled maintenance jobs.<BR><BR>Job Description:<BR><BR>Responsible for the installation of lamps, ballasts and other lighting components in various types of fixtures for a varied customer base. Should also be able to troubleshoot minor electrical problems within various types of fixtures. This person will be required to work indoors on ladders, scaffolding, or lifts as well as outdoors on a bucket truck to a height up to 55'. Must be able to work under general supervision and complete assignments in a responsible and timely manner. Individual must also complete paperwork or computer input timely and accurately. Individual is required to work within the SLS Six Point Safety Program and to maintain his/her truck and/or storage shed in a neat and organized fashion.<BR><BR><BR>Minimum Qualifications/Preferred Qualifications/Physical Requirements:<BR><BR>? Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.<BR>? Minimum 2-4 years previous lighting/electrical/mechanical experience required.<BR>? Electrical licensing where required by state or local codes - WA07A license required for this position.<BR>? Previous experience on a bucket truck is preferred, but not required.<BR>?
