When you join Nordstrom, you are welcomed into a family dedicated to creating memorable and rewarding shopping experiences for our customers.<BR><BR>The senior business analyst is motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding service everyday.<BR><BR>Responsibilities <BR>* Support the business by applying multi-functional subject matter expertise of business processes, systems and integration that spans multiple business functions in order to seek continuous improvement and innovation<BR>* Responsible and accountable to verify, prioritize and validate requirements, including leading requirement sessions for projects and complex business needs<BR>* Apply Use Cases/BPT's, Process Flows and Mock-ups/Wireframes as part of the requirements development process<BR>* Plan and guide the User Acceptance Test phase, as well as owning the approval of test plans, test cases and results tracking defects and issues through resolution<BR>* Drive business participation in all phases of the project by communicating with team members about the plan, obtaining a common understanding of deliverables and working with sponsors and business partners to set and manage scope<BR>* Analyze situations and develop course of action to ensure project stays on time, on budget and delivers key functionality<BR>* Support systems in production and new development work by overseeing coordination between appropriate teams, and ensuring escalated issues are communicated, managed and resolved considering priority and customer impact<BR>* Identify and analyze patterns and gaps for work effort at a strategic level, organize results of analysis to communicate, recommend a course of action and manage to a successful outcome<BR>* Mentor entry and intermediate business analysts to grow their analytical skills<BR>* Collaborate with others to formulate creative ideas or solutions to move project forward<BR>Qualifications<BR>* Bachelor''s degree in a related field or equivalent experience<BR>* Minimum of 2 years experience as a business analyst<BR>* Knowledge and experience with online, retail, merchandising or product development processes, systems and reporting<BR>* Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities<BR>* Proficient in writing business requirements and process documentation<BR>* Solid knowledge of proj </font></td>
