User contributed reviews are a tremendously visible aspect of Amazon''s brand and a key competitive advantage. Millions of shoppers use customer reviews every day to make buying decisions through our global websites and mobile apps. This translates to a direct impact to Amazon''s core business and customer experience. We see a very large opportunity to magnify the impact of social computing as Amazon grows new product lines and services and as consumers adopt new technologies.<BR><BR>We are looking for someone who can design and ship consumer facing products that meet the expectations set by smart phones, always-connected mobile devices and ubiquitous computing. The team is growing rapidly in order to build disruptive new features, enterprise scale web services and new mobile/tablet applications. You are our ideal candidate if you can define and evangelize long term strategy while still inventing incremental features that delight customers every day.<BR><BR>Your responsibilities will include defining customer experiences, building product roadmaps, presenting your vision to senior executives, driving the product development schedule from design to release and performing deep analytics on features. You will be working side by side with a talented team of software developers who are solving core CS challenges including machine learning, mining big data, distributed caching, game theory and real-time search. Your insight into customer needs will be required to ensure that we build technology for the right purpose and move our business goals forward. You should be highly analytical, have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented yet able to look at a wide array of choices and identify what truly matters, and to be calm in the face of fast-moving and hectic environments.
