Love distributed computing? The Clickstream team collects and processes data from all of Amazon?s website servers. How much data? Consider the number of mouse clicks a user makes during a day, multiplied by millions of users per day, across all of Amazon''s e-commerce websites. To process all of this data requires leading edge techniques like Hadoop Map-Reduce, and our solutions must scale to next year?s peak shopping traffic.<BR>We provide metrics to website and service owners all over Amazon, who rely on our data to make content and business-critical decisions every day.
