Communicates and provides customer service to operating room, hospital or clinic staff and management. May provide training to new staff.<BR><BR>1. Decontaminates operating room, hospital or clinic instruments and equipment efficiently, accurately and in an organized manner.<BR><BR>2. Sterilizes operating room, hospital or clinic instruments and equipment efficiently, accurately and in an organized manner.<BR><BR>3. Assembles operating room, hospital or clinic instruments and equipment efficiently, accurately and in an organized manner.<BR><BR>4. Provides customer service and communicate regularly to operating room, hospital or clinic staff and management.<BR><BR>5. Works with other team members in a joint effort to complete assigned tasks as needed; may provide training to new staff.<BR><BR>6. May order, receive, stock, and research supplies as needed.<BR><BR>This position requires a high school diploma or GED, plus one year of relevant Central Service or similar experience. Must have working knowledge of, and skills in, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization. Central Services training, and computer skills are preferred.<BR><BR>Preferred certifications include: Certified Registered Central Service Technician; Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician; and/or Surgical Technician.<BR><BR>Come join the quality health care leader in Seattle.
