A vital part of that is making sure that customers are protected from hackers who may try to abuse them through the devices, the services, or the content.<BR><BR>Do you enjoy taking apart systems, finding the weaknesses and helping people build them back stronger? Are you deeply technical, analytical, highly innovative and looking for an opportunity to shape the security behind Amazon''s Kindle line of products? If so, we want to talk to you. We are searching for a top-notch Senior Technical Program Manager to be involved in driving key security initiatives across the Kindle organization. This includes diving deep into the security aspects of designs and influencing changes that protect the security of customers. It also involves interacting with a variety of technologies from hardware to software, staying abreast of the latest technological innovations, and debriefing leadership.<BR><BR>This is a highly visible role that requires both business acumen when working with senior management, a strong security background for understanding threats facing modern software, and technical depth for removing development roadblocks. You will interact with a broad cross section of the Amazon organization as you trace through complex interconnected systems to improve the overall security stance of the organization and root out any issues uncovered along the way.<BR>Basic Qualifications<BR><BR>* Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or related field<BR>* Minimum 5 years of experience with technical product management in a software development environment utilizing lifecycles such as scrum, waterfall, or agile<BR>* Minimum of 3 years of experience with information security related work (secure development, operations, assessments, remediation etc)<BR>* Ability to credibly coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders<BR>* Effective written and oral communication with all levels of the organization including senior leadership<BR>* Sharp analytical abilities and problem solving skills<BR>* Strong sense of ownership and drive<BR>Preferred Qualifications<BR><BR>* Experience leading the development and interpretation of security policies and procedures<BR>* Ability to perform security focused code reviews in C/C++ and Java<BR>* Experience creating and validating threat models<BR>* A passion to make things better and a resourceful, prioritization based approach to achieving goals<BR>* Mature judgment, negotiation, and leadership skills<BR>* Ability to prioritize and synthesize action items from disparate options and trains of thought                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          </font></td>
