If you enjoy working in a rapidly changing environment and influencing the strategic direction of a large global organization, this position will provide you with a challenging opportunity. You will be responsible for managing: large scale enterprise-wide security projects involving cross team resources. You will lead the effective delivery of complex technical infrastructure projects within Amazon. This role will give you an opportunity to work with many different teams across Amazon and leverage a range of technologies and systems to deliver solutions. You will:<BR>Lead network security focused projects from inception to completion<BR>Take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications and project schedules and milestones, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner.<BR>Work with stakeholders to identify resources needed, assemble project teams, and assign responsibilities.<BR>Assess costs, benefits and risks; anticipate bottlenecks; identify, track and mitigate issues; manage escalations; anticipate and make tradeoffs; and balance business needs with technical constraints.<BR>Clearly communicate goals, responsibilities, issues and status to team members and stakeholders.<BR>Drive effective teamwork, collaboration and commitments across multiple disparate local and remote groups with competing priorities.<BR><BR>Successful candidates will possess a strong project management background, be detail driven and have excellent problem solving abilities, as well as having a well-rounded technical background in software and IT systems management. Maturity, good judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.<BR><BR>You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or multiple competing priorities.
