General Dynamics Information Technology is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.<BR><BR>Performs various wireless telecommunications construction tasks including tower erection, coaxial and antenna installation and required RF testing, welding, and related tasks.<BR><BR>PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES<BR>1.Performs various construction tasks in the areas of tower erection, coaxial cable and antenna installation, antenna mount installation, RF testing and troubleshooting, fiber optic testing and troubleshooting.<BR>2.Uses complex test equipment, power tools and hand tools related to tower and RF installations.<BR>3.Maintains telecommunications equipment and installs, rearranges and removes equipment and associated wiring.<BR>4.Interprets service orders, RF Data Sheets (RFDS), circuit diagrams, and electrical schematics.<BR>5.Tests, locates, and repairs faulty RF equipment problems.<BR>6.Performs all work in accordance with established OSHA and General Dynamics safety procedures.<BR>7.Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.<BR>8.Participates in special projects as required.<BR><BR><BR>Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.<BR><BR>1-3 years of related tower erection, RF installation and testing experience.<BR>Valid tower climber certification<BR><BR><BR>SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<BR>1.Knowledge of the technologies, tools, and equipment used in tower erection, RF installations and troubleshooting/repair.<BR>2.Demonstrated experience in installing, troubleshooting and repairing RF systems in a lead role.<BR>3.Ability to climb towers on a daily basis.<BR><BR><BR>WORKING CONDITIONS:<BR>The work is typically performed in an outdoor environment at client site locations, which requires proper safety precautions; work requires significant physical effort in climbing towers and the handling of materials, tools or equipment.<BR>The above job description is not intended to be, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with this job.<BR><BR>Requests for reasonable accommodations will be considered to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the principal (essential) functions of this job                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    </font></td>
