Amazon transportation encompasses all of the operations that deliver worldwide shipments to and from our fulfillment centers and third party locations. As a Transportation Business Process Manager you will:<BR>? Configure the inputs driving shipping decisions for packages in our North American transportation network<BR>? Define metrics to measure transportation performance and drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes and reduce waste<BR>? Problem solve and design solutions for Amazon''s transportation network<BR>? Maintain/update internal documentation for internal training and reference<BR>? Support large scale transportation programs<BR>Basic Qualifications<BR>? Bachelor?s degree in Business, Engineering or a Transportation/Supply Chain/Operations discipline<BR>? 2+ years supply chain, inventory management, retail and/or project management experience<BR>? Experience working with IT professionals and process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma<BR><BR>Preferred Qualifications<BR>? Able to use analysis tools like SQL, Excel Solver for optimization and simulation<BR>? Possess good business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done<BR>? Able to use formal and informal influencing skills across Amazon''s cross-matrix organization<BR>? Transportation or Supply Chain experience -- a strong plus<BR>? Strong analytical abilities, and high proficiency creating and managing advanced models in Microsoft Excel </font></td>
