Our highly skilled and dedicated staff share a strong sense of stewardship and take pride in working together to support the University?s teaching, research and public service programs.<BR><BR><BR>Transportation Services has an outstanding opportunity for aTransportation Supervisor. Under the direction of the Program Operations Manager for UW Shuttles, supervise Health Sciences Express, Dial-A-Ride and Program Coordinator staff. This includes Health Sciences Express shuttles drivers (Truck Driver IIs) and Dial-A-Ride shuttles drivers (Truck Driver Is & IIs). Coordinate and perform work using knowledge and experience specific to operations of the Health Sciences Express shuttle, Dial-A-Ride shuttle, South Lake Union shuttle, and Night Ride shuttle programs. Conduct audits and observations regarding vendor performance of contracted shuttle services.<BR><BR>Supervise staff and operations for the Health Sciences Express (HSE) and Dial-A-Ride (DAR) programs. This includes assisting staff in performing job tasks, conducting performance evaluations, conducting bus and shuttle driver training including refresher training, scheduling daily staff duties, overseeing substitute drivers and filling in for planned and unplanned absences. As needed, serve as a route driver for the Health Sciences Express and Dial-A-Ride programs.<BR><BR>The Transportation Supervisor must have an understanding of collective bargaining agreements and ability to cooperate with union representatives.
