Do you have the ability to work On-Call?<BR><BR>If this sounds like you we would like you to consider our opportunity for On-Call Health Services Specialist.  We have one on-call opportunity at our Pioneer Center North facility in Sedro Woolley, WA. Pioneer Center North (PCN) is a 141-bed facility in Northwestern Washington providing semi-secure, long-term residential treatment for chronic chemically dependent individuals. The majority of our residents are held under a 60 day civil court commitment. The average length of stay is 72 days.<BR><BR>Pioneer Human Services (PHS) is a nationally recognized statewide non-profit organization with over 50 locations providing an integrated array of services to include employment and training, chemical dependency treatment, mental health counseling and corrections service.<BR><BR>This position is responsible for assessing healthcare needs, providing social, moral, and spiritual guidance, and in collaboration with other staff, shall be responsible for implementing programming designed to assist each resident with their individual treatment plan.  Further, the Health Services Specialist is responsible for suggesting and recommending changes in program, policy and procedure.  The Health Services Specialist is responsible for providing high quality services under the least restrictive conditions feasible.<BR><BR>Education & Experience Required<BR>• Must be licensed in the State of Washington as Nursing Assistant-Registered or Certified; Medical Assistant, or Certified Emergency Medical Technician.<BR>• Must have current First Aid and CPR certification, Airborne & Bloodborne Pathogen training<BR>• Current Food Handlers Permit (or obtain within 2 weeks of hire),<BR>• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Access, e-mail, Excel, and Word at time of hire or within 6 months of hire date.<BR><BR>Requirements<BR>Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen are a requirement for this opportunity.<BR>Individuals selected for these opportunities should have the ability to work various shifts as needed including weekends.<BR><BR>Pioneer Human Services is an equal opportunity employer.
