Amazon Studios is looking for an analytical and technically skilled market researcher to join our team. This position will be responsible for developing best in class market research methodology and supporting techniques for all Amazon Studios market research.<BR> <BR> Through the direction of primary and secondary market research the Research Manager ensures that Amazon Studios decision-making is supported by timely and accurate data and analysis. This person will act as a strategic business partner to internal teams, leveraging research to provide clear concise recommendations and analyses on film and series projects in development. Candidate will organize and manage qualitative and quantitative testing both online and offline. Upon completion, the Research Manager reviews the collected data, draws insights, authors' reports and makes business-oriented recommendations that materially benefit the development of Amazon Studios movies and television shows. <BR> <BR> This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as outstanding business acumen. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, vocally self-critical, and an ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. They must possess a strong sense of detail and the ability to manage project guidelines thoroughly. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA. Job responsibilities include: <BR> <BR> - Development and management of all primary and secondary research for ad hoc requests and projects. This includes activities such as supplier selection (when required), study design and scope, and project management to ensure that the deliverable meets the needs of internal customers. <BR> - Designing research questionnaires and moderator guides. <BR> - Interpreting data, writing reports, making actionable recommendations and presentation of findings.<BR> - Responsible for creating an annual research plan and maintaining an annual research budget. <BR> - Identifies relevant secondary research sources such as syndicated research reports, entertainment reports and new media reports relevant to keep teams informed of market, consumer and industry trends.<BR> - Evaluate and recommend new ways to use early audiovisual representations of movies and series to get customer feedback.<BR><BR>- A minimum of 5 to 7 years within the custom Market Research industry (designing and managing primary research).<BR> - Ability to assimilate relevant data sources and hone in on key insights that drive business recommendations.<BR> - Exceptional written and oral communication abilities. <BR> - Strong analytic skills with experience in statistical modeling and analysis.<BR> - Proficient with Excel, MS Word, and SPSS/SAS. <BR> - Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences.<BR> - Candidates should be organized, outgoing, and capable of delivering tangible results in a fast paced and creative environment. <BR> - Strong report production experience.<BR><BR>- Entertainment industry experience with a focus on television and theatrical films preferred.<BR> - Candidates with a Master's degree or higher with additional experience are preferred.<BR> - Full service supplier side experience preferred.<BR><BR>*LI-IA2<BR><BR><BR><BR>If interested, please apply online at http://track.tmpservice.com/ApplyClick.aspx?id=1612235-2168-7347</font></td>
