<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b><BR>CRANE SYSTEM POLICIES TECHNICIAN<BR>DUTIES:<BR>Initiates, coordinates, and implements policies and practices for adherence to preventive and repair maintenance programs.<BR>** Prepares preventive maintenance procedures, plans and programs; determines compliance with the procedures, plans and programs.<BR>** Prepares and drafts operating instructions.<BR>** Provides practical expertise to assist in problems related to facilities, utilities, WHE or transportation systems and equipment.<BR>** Recommends, prepares, and implements new systems, procedures, and instructions.<BR>** Assists with MAXIMO reporting and the preparation of programs to report MAXIMO information. <BR>** Develops technical maintenance process instructions for approval.<BR>** May assist in training new employees assigned to the section.<BR>** Prepares labor and material estimates for proposed changes to the contract. <BR>** Provides labor and material estimates for IDIQ funding requests relating to WHE.<BR>** Provides root cause analysis and proposes corrective actions for CARs. <BR>** Develops and submits engineering proposals for equipment deficiencies as required by the P-307.<BR>** Receives, reviews and ensures implementation of Government WHE Engineering memos including material and work performance requirements. Recommends changes to WHE Engineering memos when necessary. <BR>** Develops departmental reports utilizing Access, Project and MAXIMO databases as required for tracking work performance, expenditures, work order status, and long range maintenance schedules. <BR>** Schedules crane preventive maintenance. <BR>** Performs related duties as assigned.<BR>** Promotes quality and customer service.<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS<BR>Resumes not addressing these items may not be referred</b><BR>- High school education or equivalent<BR>- Three years experience in work directly related to maintenance of facilities, utilities, Weight Handling Equipment, (WHE) or transportation systems and equipment in the capacity of technical writer, mechanic, journey level, or maintenance procedure writer.<BR>- Two years experience writing and implementing maintenance inspection procedures, ( Additional administrative experience may be substituted for education or journey level status on a year for year basis).<BR>- Minimum 1 year computer experience utilizing a Windows driven system to include Access, Project and MAXIMO Data Base Programs.<BR>- Meet requirements for Journeyman level crane electrical or crane mechanic, (3 years).<BR>- Must possess valid Washington State driver's license<BR>-- Meet and maintain security eligibility requirements including U.S. citizenship, no felony convictions and honorable discharge from military (if applicable).<BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</b><BR>- - Experience working with MAXIMO database or comparable systems highly desirable. <BR>--- Possess knowledge and understanding of crane electrical and mechanical systems and components.<BR>-- Knows and understands NAVFAC P-307. <BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE</b><BR><BR>Full time position working Monday - Friday, day shift.<BR><BR><b>SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS</b><BR><BR>Wage is $31.44 per hour, plus Competitive Benefits Package<BR>Qualified candidates will be requested to complete an employer application packet.<BR><BR><b>CLOSING DATE / DEADLINE</b><BR><BR>Position closes November 9, 2012<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY</b><BR>You must visit a WorkSource office in person between the hours of 8:30 am and 4pm with this job order number to request a referral and for application instructions.
