<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">2976BR<BR>Advertised Position Title Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) Manager<BR>Division Mission Systems<BR>Work Location WA, Kitsap Bangor<BR>Job Description THIS POSITION IS PENDING CONTRACT AWARD<BR>The Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) Manager s primary duty and responsibility is to provide maintenance and engineering oversight to the total work effort associated with the IMA infrastructure with particular emphasis on the dry dock and Delta Pier operations. The IMA Manager shall serve as the subject matter expert for review and approval of Contractor plans and procedures related to IMA operations and maintenance; and provide review/approval of related scopes of work and cost proposals provided to the Government. The IMA Manger shall perform no functions other than those associated with the IMA. The IMA Manager or alternate shall be on-site during the Government s regular working hours and shall be available on-site within two hours after the Government s regular working hours.<BR><BR>MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:<BR><BR>1.Provide technical leadership and oversight of any required IMA maintenance and repair actions.<BR>2.Serve as the Primary Exelis point of contact for the IMA staff.<BR>3.Stay informed of key IMA activities to ensure proper support and prevent conflicts by Exelis.<BR>4.Coordinate with other operational managers, particularly BSVE and Utilities, to ensure proper support and multi-shop coordination.<BR>5.Support development of maintenance work documents before and during maintenance actions.<BR>6.Ensure that proper crews are available for docking evolutions and that emergent problems are handled rapidly and correctly.<BR>7.Work in partnership with government counterparts to assure optimum equipment repairs and functionality.<BR>8.Interface and work with off-site vendors and repair activities to ensure adequate quality controls are in place.<BR>9.Performs other duties and assignments as required.<BR><BR>MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:<BR>Computers, Microsoft Office, and other software products as required and standard office equipment/ machinery.<BR><BR>WORKING ENVIRONMENT:<BR>Work is generally conducted in an office environment and at project work areas. Duties, however, may involve the conduct of work outdoors with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions. May be required to work other than standard work hours to ensure effective customer support. Must be able to climb vertical ladders up to 100 in height and tour confined and extensive subterranean utility tunnels and galleries.<BR><BR>PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:<BR>Work may require lifting up to 50 lbs., stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical dangers and chemical or hazardous agents. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices.
