Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace aftermarket business in distribution, manufacturing or repair organization highly desired. <BR><BR>POSITION DESCRIPTION<BR>Sales Associate<BR>THE OPPORTUNITY:<BR>LKD Aerospace is rapidly growing AS9100C (ISO9001:2008) certified aerospace company in business since 1983 with divisions in Advanced Technology fabrication, Component Manufacturing, FAA/EASA MRO and Distribution. The company serves aerospace OEM’s in commercial aircraft, business jets, helicopters as well as aftermarket airlines and MRO’s. In addition we serve military, energy, industrial and other markets.<BR><BR>Summary: <BR>Responsible for aerospace component sales to OEM’s, airlines, MRO’s, government and brokers. Primary activity is aftermarket sales of factory new distribution components.<BR><BR>Job Overview:<BR>Responsible for inside sales of aftermarket aerospace components to OEM’s, airlines, MRO’s, government and brokers. Responsibilities:<BR>• The candidate may in the future grow into sales with our repair group. If this occurs, the candidate will be part of the FAA Repair Roster for Sales and be subject to FAA initial and random drug testing. <BR>• The ideal candidate will demonstrate skills over time to be able to grow into the role of a Key Customer Account Manager and do business development activities, competitive analysis, identify new product development efforts etc. This includes some limited travel including tradeshows and occasional travel to key customers.<BR>• Ability to follow and understand both non-technical work instructions and pro-actively prioritize multiple tasks to achieve customer satisfaction.<BR>Eligibility Requirements:<BR>• Minimum 5 years of experience required in at least one or a combination of:<BR>o Customer Service/Sales in an aviation and/or aerospace aftermarket business strongly desired. <BR>o Customer Service/Sales in a large Aerospace OEM company engaging in both manufacturing and repair services for major air carriers and MRO facility customers. <BR>o U.S. Military Service including hands-on experience with aircraft engine maintenance and inventory management.<BR>o Inventory management including shipping/receiving, inventory control, planning and procurement. Experience with HAZ-MAT material a plus. <BR>• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.<BR>• Experience with MRP and/or ERP systems in an aerospace environment.<BR>• Excellent attention to detail and quality<BR>• Strong written and verbal communication skills<BR>• Pleasant personality to provide engaging customer service and sales<BR>• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities quickly and positively<BR>• Must be willing to work cooperatively in a small team environment and have strong ethics to do what is right for the customer, the company and fellow employees.<BR><BR>Physical Requirements: <BR>- Able to constantly lift (up to 50 pounds), bend, kneel, stretch and stand during entire shift<BR><BR>In our efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace, LKD Aerospace, Inc. requires the candidates complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug & alcohol screen prior to employment.
