We are looking for the best and willing to pay for long-term high quality talent. <BR>Summary: <BR>Responsible for all repair technician duties in our FAA/EASA MRO facility.<BR><BR>Job Overview:<BR>Perform functional repairs and tests on electronic, electro-mechanical or mechanical subassemblies, end items of both limited and significant complexity in support of repair activities in our Limited Accessory and Limited Instrument facility. <BR>Responsibilities:<BR>• Ability to interpret and work in accordance with work orders, drawings and schematics, functional and acceptance test procedures, repairs, failure reports, manuals and all other applicable engineering and production specifications  <BR>• Perform both manual and automated tests on assemblies, end items and system level testing to ensure product quality and reliability in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements<BR>• Maintains adherence to production, test and quality system procedures and processes with exceptional attention to detail, commitment to Quality, doing it right the first time and following through to completion<BR>• AWS D17 Certified Welder or the ability to certify <BR>• Good communication skills with an ability to follow and understand both technical and non-technical work instructions with experience in an aerospace OEM production facility, which includes use of inspection equipment and ability to interpret blue print drawings and able to support repair station manager in establishing new capabilities. <BR>Eligibility Requirements:<BR>• AA degree in Electronics Technology, or Mechanical Technology  or equivalent knowledge through experience or other recognized  educational institution <BR>• Minimum 5 years manufacturing test or repair technician <BR>• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License strongly preferred <BR>• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite<BR>• Experience with using ERP and bar-code labor costing<BR>• Excellent attention to detail<BR>• Solid written and verbal communication skills<BR>• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>• Must be willing to work cooperatively in a small team environment<BR>Physical Requirements: <BR>- Able to constantly lift (up to 50 pounds), bend, kneel, stretch and stand during entire shift<BR><BR>In our efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace, LKD Aerospace, Inc. requires the candidates complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug & alcohol screen prior to employment.  FAA sensitive positions require employees to participate in a random drug test pool.<BR>Compensation is DOE.
