Duties to include: <BR>? Process Medicare insurance claims, payments, non-allowed charges and refusals for Medicare to ensure optimum cash receipts and recognizing and resolving billing problems as they arise.<BR>? Support Supervisor and other Team employees to ensure overall Team goals are achieved.<BR>? Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude towards supervisor and other members of the Medicare Team and billing office<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>? High School Diploma or equivalent<BR>? Two years medical billing experience, knowledge of Part A and Part B billing<BR><BR><b>Must be prepared and able to demonstrate the following qualifications at the time of referral:</b><BR><BR>? Successful track record in resolving Medicare claims<BR>? Must be knowledgeable about Medicare rules and regulations to assure compliance in billing<BR>? Accurate typing, 35wpm and 10-key by touch<BR>? Microsoft Excel experience<BR>? Ability to utilize multiple software programs; must be computer savvy<BR>? Must be a team player<BR>? Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner<BR>? Strong written and verbal communication skills<BR>? Ability to work independently<BR>? Detail oriented, well organized and have excellent problem solving skills<BR>? Good independent judgment and good reasoning abilities<BR><BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b><BR>? Laboratory Billing Experience<BR><BR><b>HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE:</b><BR>Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm<BR> <BR><BR><b>SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:</b><BR>Salary depending on experience.
