A Medical reference laboratory serving physicians, hospitals, members of the community, employers, and other allied health professionals is recruiting for a Billing Diagnosis Coding Coordinator. This position facilitates the work of the Billing Department and Marketing staff, maintaining client satisfaction while reducing/preventing missing billing information. The Billing Coordinator is responsible for the education of PAML, AML, SHCLIN, KLS, CLA, TCL, MSCL,CLS & assigned clients ,etc., acting as a liaison between the organization and the client on billing requirements, and evaluating processes and ensuring improvement in the collection of accurate billing information. JOB REQUIREMENTS: A? Four years experience in the medical and/or insurance field. Must be prepared and able to demonstrate the following qualifications at the time of referral: - Demonstrated Intermediate organizational skill - Demonstrated excellent communication skills - Demonstrated excellent people skills - Detail oriented and self-motivated PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Previous Diagnosis Coding experience - Teaching or training experience - 1 year experience working in a physicians office - Familiarity with medical and insurance billing requirements and regulations. HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE: 7:30-4:00 PM M-F . Near bus route. SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS: Salary depending on experience. No benefits.
