Duties to include: <BR>Assist with supervision of all designated personnel and duties assigned to the Diagnosis Coding team. Including but not limited to:<BR>o Oversight of daily workload<BR>o Monitoring Diagnosis Coding phone queue daily<BR>o Maintenance of policies and procedures<BR>o Performing Quality Assurance checks on all employees weekly<BR>o Training of existing employees and new hires<BR>o Monitoring & maintaining documentation of employee performance<BR>o Resolution of personnel issues<BR>o Assisting with employee evaluations<BR>Provide backup for all tasks as needed, filling in for supervisor and/or employees as needs require.<BR>Maintain current knowledge of diagnosis coding, insurance billing, and other billing processes<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>Two (2) years of experience with Medical Billing/Diagnosis Coding or equivalent; <BR>Accurate typing ability, minimum 35 wpm; Ten-key by touch.<BR>High school diploma or equivalent.<BR><BR><b>Must be prepared and able to demonstrate the following qualifications at the time of referral:</b><BR><BR>Demonstrated leadership potential, works well with and is respected by fellow employees; <BR>Quick learner, good organizational, team working and directional skills; <BR>Flexible - can easily adapt to change, willing to perform different tasks as needed. <BR>Independent judgment and good reasoning ability; <BR>Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner <BR>Effective written and verbal communication; <BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b><BR> Leadership and/or supervisory experience.<BR> Demonstrated abilities as a team-player<BR> Previous Diagnosis Coding experience in an outpatient/physician office setting.<BR> Medical Terminology.<BR> Outpatient Billing Experience.<BR> CCS or equivalent.<BR> Excel Level II or greater<BR> Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)<BR><BR><b>HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE:</b><BR>7:00 - 4:00 pm M-F.  Near bus route.  <BR><BR><BR><b>SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:</b><BR>Salary depending on experience. KEY REQUIREMENTS:
