<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Job Summary<BR><BR>Drives growth and profitability of certain market basket segments (i.e. Programs and/or Retail) and all assigned SBU products in assigned territory through risk selection, pricing, negotiation, sales, retention, and quality service.<BR><BR>Job Qualifications<BR><BR>High School Diploma Or Equivalent<BR>1 Or More Years Of Related Experience<BR>2 or more years of related experience preferred.<BR>1. Thorough knowledge of underwriting principles/techniques and BU Underwriting guidelines.<BR>2. Thorough knowledge of coverage and pricing of all business offerings.<BR>3. Understands our market and competitors.<BR>4. Understands principles of sales, sales techniques, and sales terminology.<BR>5. Understands principles, techniques and terminology of claims and the BU Claims process.<BR>6. Understands and works within regulatory environment.<BR>7. Knowledge of personal computers, company-approved software, and business system applications.<BR>8. Understands how to navigate the internet and intranet and assess the value of available information.<BR>9. Interprets/analyzes financial statements.<BR>10. Broad knowledge of certain segment customers'' business and operations.<BR>11. Understands financial results of BU and how the AE job affects the bottom line.<BR>12. Knowledge of company''s vision, organizational structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values and code of ethics.<BR>13. Understands and applies techniques to manage multiple priorities.<BR>14. Possesses a high level of motivation to achieve necessary involvement within a team.<BR>15. Understands the importance of, and demonstrates a commitment to, personal and professional growth.<BR>16. Licensed to sell insurance products.<BR>17. Account Executive lives within territory preferred. </font></td>
