This position will maintain testing schedules, issue tests, provide information to students regarding results and next steps in the admissions/registration process, maintain testing materials, and maintain testing records following appropriate college retention rules and regulations. This position may also assist with other testing duties within the Testing Center e.g. High Stakes testing, proctoring current student testing, etc., as well as work nights and weekends as required.   <BR><BR>CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<BR>•Coordinate the day-to-day operations of assessment testing, including but not limited to scheduling, administering, and processing placement assessments results in the student management System (SMS), ordering testing materials, and responding to faculty and staff requests for assessment data and reports. *<BR>•Provide information to students regarding results for professional technical programs and initial placement into Math and English courses. If questions arise regarding interpretation of results, provide resource information to students for further advice/consult. *<BR>•Compile student and program reports utilizing Student Management System (SMS) and other software programs. *<BR>•In conjunction with computer support services, maintain computer hardware and software in the testing center. *<BR>•Train and direct assessment proctors and work-study students to ensure the smooth operation of assessment testing. *<BR>•Track budgets ensuring appropriate allocation of budgets/monies. Administer test fee waivers as appropriate. Inform supervisor of budgeting issues as needed. *<BR>•Compose written informational documents distributed to the public that assist prospective students in the understanding of the assessment process. *<BR>•Participate in and implement recommendations from committees and task forces charged with examining the assessment practices at CCS. *<BR>•Administer and monitor High Stakes and distance education exams; in consultation with Media Lab Coordinator, communicate regularly with representatives of High Stakes testing regarding interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures. Prepare equipment and materials for High Stakes and distance education testing as well as specified correspondence resolving special problems or inquiries. *<BR>•Prepare equipment and materials for high stakes and distance education testing. *<BR>•Assist at the Media Desk as assigned. *<BR>•Model professional decorum and mutual respect in all personal interactions. *<BR>•Support and advance the CCS strategic plan, and perform other duties as assigned. *<BR>*Essential duty</font></td>
